Appointment Of Lead Independent Director

The Board of Directors of Karin Technology Holdings Limited (the "Company") wishes to announce the appointment of Prof. Ng Tung Sang as the Lead Independent Director of the Company with effect from 28 August 2008 in line with the recommendation of the Code of Corporate Governance 2005.

Prof. Ng Tung Sang is the Chairman of the Remuneration Committee and a member of the Nominating Committee and Audit Committee of the Company.
